Angela Stuart-Santiago grew up in the 1960s, a period that holds great interest for her as a writer and as a mother of two. She has written for all media, walking over from print to television and stage. She has quietly explored the potential of a mutant language to capture the odd synchronicities and even the collisions (a.k.a. the EDSA Revolution) which fascinate her, as a sometime astrologer for friends and neighbors, as a historian with an abiding interest in psychology which she studied at the University of the Philippines, and as a citizen exercising her right to dissent and to disobey.
Equally comfortable in Tagalog and in English, she has picked on environmental subjects lately as a suitable framework for doing something concrete for her children’s generation.
